The Koochiching Technology Initiative is seeking candidates for a one year paid fellowship to accelerate our efforts to bring excellent internet and technology opportunities to the county!

While building on recent advances in connectivity, the Koochiching Technology Initiative (KTI) continues to address affordability and accessibility, technology skills, innovation, and other fundamentals of an intelligent community to help the county and its people thrive. Our track record as an informal citizens committee is strong and we certainly don’t lack for achievable ideas! What’s needed now is a full-time position to build on these efforts and help pick up the pace!

KTI has partnered with Lead for Minnesota (LFMN) and Koochiching County for a one-year fellowship which may grow into a permanent position pursuing innovation for our community as a whole. We will work with the Fellow to design the position, select it’s institutional home and secure long-term funding while simultaneously pursuing specific local projects.

We want to partner with YOU to recruit the best candidates we can find! Most LFMN Fellows have local ties to the communities in which they serve, bringing their new skills and enthusiasm back home. Help us get the word out! Share the word with potential applicants that come to mind as well as friends, families, colleges and others who might know others.
